What Will You Do In The End?

This sermon is a prophetic word to the Church in North America. Jeremiah had witnessed how Israel had fared under both godly and ungodly leaders, he had witness how the practices and policies of a nation’s leaders can seriously alter the course that the rest of the country follows. But Jeremiah heard the voice of the Lord and called out to the people to be “saved from this perverse generation!” In every generation God looks to see how those who profess to believe in Him perform during their hour. A nation is always blessed whose God is the LORD. The prophet rebukes those who falsely call themselves children of God but have not grieved, refused correction, made their faces harder than rock, and refused to return. Today the lights that burn in the house of God have grown dim. Those who have taken the sacred pledge to uphold God’s Word have fallen into idolatry. Most inside the Church have been deceived into following unrighteous Mammon. And the lion has come out of the thicket and awaits his next victims. The prophet’s message today as in Jeremiah’s time is: break up your fallow ground! Do not sow among thorns! Circumcise yourselves to the LORD, and take away the foreskins of your hearts because your doings are evil. The Church is heading in the wrong direction. The wills of those within it are revolting against God. Do not be deceived by outward professions! Those who bear the good fruit of holy living are the true Church of Jesus Christ. Many religious leaders have risen up and prophesied falsely, but the people love to have it so. These false shepherds cannot be trusted. Repent! Be deceived no longer! What will you do in the end?
