He Who Believes In the Son Has Everlasting Life

We must put Christ in His proper place, self must be put in its proper place, and we must not be too dependent on human teachers and authorities. John the Baptist believed with all his heart that God was true and all life was in Christ, he saw that life came from God and not from the Jewish religious leaders. The rebirth of the Holy Spirit is the beginning of life. The Jewish religious leaders did not believe, there must be faith in order for there to be life. There must be regeneration. No person has the power of eternal life; it only comes through Jesus Christ by faith. The Jewish people abandoned consecration and began to live by religion instead. It was out of habit and memory of the past. Without the Holy Spirit they could not understand the things of God. Nicodemus did not understand the new birth, John the Baptist was filled with the Spirit of God. There are many in the Church today who are not born again. Religion is a sham! One must have life through Christ alone! Disciples of Christ must become like Him with faith that can move mountains. To nurture the life of Christ within one must pray and believe. The Spirit makes intercession for all the saints who are born again. Most professed Christian are mediocre, they lack the Spirit and are weak and frustrated, doing works and ministry out of religious obligation. You cannot pass the first step! Even if one has spent their whole life in Church unless there is a death of self you cannot be born again. What will you decide today? Do you place yourself and your reputation first? Denounce yourself, take up your cross and follow Christ. Trust in Him by faith and continue in faith unto eternal life.
