How Much Are You Worth?

What profit is it to a man to gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Those who focus on this world and ignore their souls ignore eternity. To be shut out of Heaven and to lose your soul is not worth earthly comfort. So many have gone after the world and lost their soul, peace, and holiness. Christ came to free us from the bondage of Satan and lust. Lust unrestrained will lead one away from God and to the things of this world. We will either give ourselves to Christ or live by our own feelings, emotions, and lusts. Peter was dominated by his own perception of why Christ came. Judaism at the time was academic, law based, and dead. The same is true for the Church today. The modern Church is seeking the supernatural but ignoring the fact that Christ came to remake us! But first one must be born again and sin must be put to death! There is no shortcut, there is no easy way. Satan has veiled humans from seeing the truth and many are blinded by materialism and sensuality. War breaks out when the natural and spiritual man go to war. When one truly follows Christ they are following Him to death. Those who follow Christ will experience hatred from the enemies of God. Conflict will rage inside of us. The Church today is chained to worldliness and false teachers teach that personal holiness is not required! It is a lie! Christ came to overturn carnal security and repent. Christ came to establish His Kingdom within us. But one must desire to follow Christ for this to take place. God will for all to have union with the death, life and joy of Christ! Steady obedience and faithfulness produces holiness, we must obey. Are you surrendered to God or the things of this world?
