Those Continuing With Me Through My Trials I Bestow a Kingdom

Jesus describes His Disciples as those who continue and remain in a state identical to Him. In order for one to remain a follower of Christ they must stay in direct association with Him. One cannot remain neutral in this life! One who desires to follow after Christ must deny themselves and the self-centered life must be put to death. Each believer must continue to associate with Christ in everything they do. Judas did not continue on with Christ, he had made a covenant with the powers of darkness. Those who continue with Christ will receive a kingdom. All who follow Christ must enter into agreement with His death, they must die to sin as Christ did! We must come to the end of ourselves. One must be born again and abandon self and selfish religion and exchange it all for faith in Christ. All Christians will be sifted as wheat, but Jesus is praying for us. Temptation produces examination that results from the test. They are used to show ones true inner nature and character. The Bible makes a contrast between those that overcome and those that are cowardly. The basis of being an overcomer is faith. God sees every trial we go through, will you believe in God above everything else? In order to walk in victory one must walk in faith. We must pray! One will lose faith unless they humble themselves under God and pray. We must call upon the Lord in deep humiliation! Be completely surrendered to God and walking in full faith to be victorious. This all comes through submission of our will to the will of God. The Christian must daily put off the old man and submit to God, they must willingly put on the new man in righteousness and holiness. Will you continue with Him through trials?
