Blessed Are The Pure In Heart, For They Shall See God

During the days of Christ humanity was suffering from weakness because of their inner hunger. The people were weary and scattered like sheep with no one leading them. Their religious leaders were blind and corrupt. They did not live by God’s Word nor show the people what a personal relationship with God is like. Their burdens came from religion and the doctrines of the Pharisees. The people had an increasing burden with no relief in sight and their teachers did not show them how to live victoriously over sin. Jesus came to restore heart purity. We must be pure in heart, forget the religious system! Christians are to be the salt of the earth and change their surroundings by their testimony. The saint lives to do God’s will. In this world we will become discouraged if we do not live by faith. Jesus came to destroy the power of sin and change His followers into His likeness. The born again Christian must remain dead to sin. Faith in God must be maintained over the world’s influences. Impurity must be put out of the heart, this is maintained through going on to sanctification. We cannot fight spiritual battles with our minds! We also cannot ignore problems. One can live in victory by faith and walking in relationship with Christ. Faith in God must rule where our lives meet the world. One can only face this world’s fears when we die and our life is hidden with Christ in God. We must walk in confidence that God will always honor and keep His Word. Jesus is our advocate, helper, and counselor! One who is walking in present faith is kept by the Lord. God is true to His promises! Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.
