Be Diligent to Present Yourself Approved to God

In this passage Paul instructs Timothy to go on and teach the truth and present himself approved to God. One must never make light of their call by God and must take their calling seriously, to be ready, to watch and to pray. The servants of Christ serve Him and not themselves. They are ready and prepared when trials come. They are not self-consumed! To be prepared one must be in a state of consecration and faith. It is God who does the work as one keeps these conditions. Only Christ can give the grace we need to be powerful with His might when one is rightly related to God. One extends their borders by walking by faith and trusting God, applying what He teaches us, and relying on His grace. One must be faithful on a daily basis and fixed upon His path and not constantly trying to avoid this path by deceit and perversity. Living the Christian life is serious because Hell is real although the doctrine has been distorted and misunderstood today. We must not fear death to ourselves, instead we should fear hell. Refusal to repent will send one to hell. To escape hell one must be consecrated to God and trust Him by faith throughout their daily trials. Beware of deceptive spirits, apply the Word of God to your every thought, remove bad assumptions, feelings, and actions and replace them with what is good. Christians must represent Christ and rightly present what the Word of God teaches. Make sure what you believe is true. Protect your mind in this information age with the Helmet of Salvation and stay clean. One cannot be a Christian and rest, we will constantly be challenged and tried in this world. Depart from iniquity! Do not grieve the Spirit! Remain in Christ by faith.
