Faith, Grounded and Steadfast

Knowledge of the will of God, wisdom, and spiritual understand are all results of the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the born again believer’s life. Faith leads to repentance. Faith is the focus of hope and produces love. Love naturally flows from the bond between God and a believer. Faith, love, and hope are the fruits of the grace of God. The value system of all people is wrong until they repent, are regenerated, and adopted into the family of Christ. Being united with God fills and satisfies the soul. One experiences richness, completeness, and abundance instead of emptiness. The Christian is one who personally goes on relating to Calvary. Until one embraces the truth of the cross they will never be fully in Christ. The power of darkness grips sinners and the strong man guards these dark influences. Satanic influences keep one in bondage and darkness hangs as a cloud over the mind blinding one to reality and keeping one in sin. When Christ came to earth everything changed. He resisted temptations and redeemed the human race back to God. Christians have authority over the power of all the enemies of God through Christ. When one is born again they are freed and given new life. One remains free from the power of darkness by remaining rightly related to the cross. So many people today idolize themselves, other people, or systems. But only Christ is worthy of authority! Christ gives one the ability to obey God. When one trusts in Christ by faith His Spirit enters them and puts things in the right order. Only ongoing faith and obedience keeps one reconciled to God. One must not turn away from the hope of the Gospel.
