The Tragedy of the Cross, The Birth of a King

He who comes to God must believe that He is the foundation of all things, and that He rewards those that diligently seek Him. The reward for seeking is God Himself, ask and it will be given, seek and you will find. God Himself is greater than any miracle, signs will follow those who have true faith. John’s Gospel does not record many miracles. His emphasis in writing the gospel is faith. When people are wholly consecrated to God He fills the temple. If one is no longer consecrated God will depart, He will only remain in those who keep His covenant. There must be full and total consecration to God and true faith yields to Christ as King. Throughout redemptive history God allows religious system go on even if they have lost their original purpose. When Christ came to the Jewish nation they were enslaved and in need of a Messiah. The payment God expects from His people is holiness because it represents the nature of God. Yet when Christ came the Jewish people had contempt for God. At the finish God sent His Son, He had reached a decision. False teachers of our time are pushing toward the same end. Redemption is the true purpose of salvation! God does not look at the Church building He looks at the hearts of the people. The Christian Church of our time is starting to look like the Jewish Church of Christ’s time. The agony of God will turn to the judgment of God! The atonement is available to all, the Covenant is available to everyone. True disciples are those who repent, believe, and come out of the sinful world. God desires to see redemption based on those who believe in Him. The life of the penitent will be set free from sin. Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand.
