Revealed By Fire

In the lives of those who follow after Jesus there will be many tests that take place. Tests are a revelation by fire to see if one’s faith is solid. Carnality is the opposite of faith. There must be a response to God’s Word, it is foolish to hear and not put into practice. The true Christian is one who builds their life upon Christ and not upon the things of this world. Each one will be judged based upon their work, God dwells in people who are built upon the Rock. Through trials the Holy Spirit will reveal carnality and one must continue and allow His Spirit to reveal and purge of carnality. All who are following after Christ must beware of inattention and lawlessness. All Christians must do. There is a difference between hearing and doing. Christians must build their lives upon Christ and not on sand. Everything regarding the rise and fall of mankind is based on a response to what Christ says. Christians face every day the questions of compromise or obedience. This is the difference between the wise and the foolish. Most modern institutions are built on sand and they are not obeying God’s commandments. All people need renovation. No one can reach God through person efforts, religious systems, or works. True repentance is a complete change! One must continue to change until their life is completely transformed. Christians must get to work and beware of inattention. A Christian must be doing the work of Jesus, there must be no carnality. What does the fire of God reveal in our lives? To be healed we must be humble, willing to repent and go on repenting, and build your life upon what Jesus commands, even in the midst of trials.
