The Lamb Will Overcome

Throughout scripture Babylon represents every apostate kingdom that existed on the face of the earth since creation. Babylon is sexual immorality and called the great harlot. Babylon has been fighting against God from the beginning and will continue until the end. The world goes after Babylon because it is arrayed in splendor as a place of merchandise that contains all the fruits that the human soul longs for. Babylon is a system influenced by Satan, it is a demonic system. Babylon worships itself, it is rich and powerful, and if full of the treasure of this world. Babylon holds three main influences over society. The first is Monocracy, a form of government where only one person rules. But God alone is sovereign, He is God above and over everything. Satan and Babylon are systems of rebellion that will be destroyed. The only source of victory is faith in Jesus Christ. Babylon also seeks to rule through subjection and domination. Satan was cast to earth and he is after the subjection of the earth. Every system on earth is ruled this way. The Devil is behind all of this subjection, he wants to take control over the hearts and minds of men. The attitude of Christ is opposite, for the greatest is the servant. Babylon also seeks to rule through rebellion. The opposition and defiance of Divine authority. Every sin is based on rebellion to what God has commanded. Babylon seeks to make all mankind rebel against God. Only by a believer remaining one in Christ can we overcome, loving God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. Those that keep the Word of God will not face death. Christians must obey God alone and never become a part of the system of Babylon.
