Do You See the Father?

In this passage the disciple Philip asks Christ to see the Father. Jesus responds by telling Him that those who have seen Him have seen the Father. The truth is today many in the Church have not seen the Father. Not all that sit in Church have become a child of God. Only through being born again can one see the Father. In order to be born again one must “put on” Christ and be born anew through the Holy Spirit. When one is born again a change takes place, a real change and one becomes obedient and holy. The born again Christian sees the Father and shows the Father to others as they grow in holiness and walk in daily obedience. No one can enter the Kingdom of Heaven through works; you must be re-made by the grace of God. When one has the Holy Spirit they do not look for the Father they have the Father within them. In order to share the Truth of God with others one must have a testimony, a testimony that does away with confusion and doubt. This is the state of the Disciples of Christ after the day of Pentecost, they were used to convert thousands and many of them were martyred. They lived to do the will of the Father and live for Christ and changed the whole world forever. Today so many profess to be Christians but do not live for Christ. Those that have truly come to the Truth live like He is the Truth. All others do not truly know Him and do not have the fruit of the Spirit. Many during the time of Christ did not receive Him, the Jews did not receive Him, but the question is will you receive Him? The moment you believe you become a part of His family and He gives you the power to become a true child of God and to know Him so others can see the Father through us.
