Walk While You Have the Light

God reveals His light to us so we may respond to Him, so we may take it in and obey Him. The last message Christ gave to the people of Israel was to walk while they had the light. The sun was going down on the people of Israel, time was running out. We must heed this warning as well and walk as children of light while we have the light. Abraham was an example of one who responded to the light and walked before God blameless. Abraham saw God as the center of his life. Men that resist God will lose energy and power, God is willing to solve all problems but if man moves away from the remedy they will plunge into darkness. Only by turning to God can the solution to man’s problems be solved. The false religious system of Christ’s day refused the light and the Church of today is coming under the same delusion. People are being deceived by false teachers. The sheep of Christ follow Him, not the false teachers that are leading them off a cliff! The Bible is God’s authority and the final judge, all will be judged by the Word. The way to Heaven is a Holy way and a difficult way. Beware of false teachers that teach otherwise. All must obey and do God’s will, keep God’s commands, and obey God out of love. Christians are called to live the law through the Holy Spirit, dead to sin and walking in the light. The purpose of Christ was to do the will of the Father and ours must be the same. All must study the Word and keep the Word. God’s Word is everlasting life. To abide in Christ is to obey and walk by faith and be transformed. We must walk in obedience to God’s Word to become like Christ and to be made holy.
