Five Yokes

The Gospel principle is to repent and believe, each individual’s reception or rejection determines where the weight of their sin will lie. Redemption means to release, to take your yoke off and place it upon Christ. How own responds to the light determines how long they will stay in a place of torment. One comes under a weight and a burden when they are enslaved and in bondage to sin. The call of mankind is not to bear the load, but to believe and obey God, loving God, letting go and trusting Him! There is a difference between those who bear the yoke on their own and those who trust Christ. What one does in the light determines where their burdens will fall, the Gospel will bring one joy if they are willing to sell all they have for the Pearl of Great Price. The joy is found in Christ, not in things. One must not become consumed by the cares of this world, they will crush you. The yoke of sin lies heavily upon disobedient people, the heavy yoke of bondage produces the weakness of the Church. In order to be free from the war against the flesh one must realize the battle is already won! It was won on the cross! We must trust in the cross and not doubt. We must rest by faith in Christ and in His victory. One must be under the rule of Christ and obey Him. The justified believer has had the light revealed to them, Christ has become king, His Word is true, He is the highest and there is none greater! When the soul is at rest one can walk in the Spirit and can do all things through Him. As one gives dominion and rule over their lives their life will never end. As one remains yoked to Christ they will walk in the light and live for eternity with Him.
