Subjected In Hope
Christians receive the spirit of adoption, not fear. One knows when God is within and when they have become adopted. Bondage leads to slavery and fear, but adoption leads to freedom by the Holy Spirit. When we trust in Christ He removes our sin and restores us, we are dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. Regeneration and adoption bring hope. If one becomes a child they become an heir. The Holy Spirit makes Christians alive and the old man is put to death. We must not obey the old man but surrender our will to God to receive the Holy Spirit. Christians are called to die to themselves and be crucified with Christ. Faith is how one is justified and this brings peace. Faith gives access to the grace of God. Faith produces perseverance, character, and hope. It all comes when one is born again and godly character is created within. It is faith in the blood of Christ that saves one from the wrath of God. The Devil has made mankind slaves of sin, but when one responds by faith they escape the snare of the Devil. Christians are to be strong in the inward sanctification that only comes from Christ. Christians are to take heed of doctrine, study to show themselves approved, shun idle talk, flee youthful lusts, and persevere under evils and injury. Christians must be sober, watchful, and vigilant. God has made a way of escape. Only by faith in the blood of Christ can we be saved, we must denounce sin and turn to God. It is the will of God that we would repent and be saved. Do you see your purpose and life situation as subjected in hope? Or are you living under the wrath of God?
