Keep Yourselves In the Love of God

Antinomianism is a big word that means “against law.” The term identifies those who reject moral law as binding, in terms of conduct, for Christians. Antinomianism positions law and grace in a hostile relationship. Antinomians have been around since the beginning of the Church. They are people who try to maneuver around the commands of God and eventually become full blown transgressors. Jesus makes it clear in Matthew 5 that He did not come to destroy the Law but to teach us how to fulfill the Law. Satan comes like he came to Adam and Eve in the Garden and tries to make us doubt God’s Law. God makes it clear that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God. The majority of the Church at Christ’s Second Coming will be dead to holiness. Delusion will come upon the Church as a result of their attitudes because they refuse the light and the love of the Truth and instead they find pleasure in unrighteousness. The number one cause of spiritual delusion is not obeying God’s spoken and written Word. When one hears the Word of God and holds it in contempt God condemns them. Anyone who prefers false apostles and erroneous doctrines over the Truth will be sent a delusion. Personal responsibility is placed on every believer to remember what Christ and His apostles said instead of listening to false preachers. Christians keep themselves in the love of God by applying daily what God’s Word teaches. The Antinomian says that Christians are not bound by moral laws. Satan is the originator of Antinomianism by disregarding what God has already said. Antinomians encourage people to sin and deny God. Only by abiding in God’s Word is a person Christ’s disciple.
