I Do Not Want You to Have Fellowship With Demons
We live in a time when the light is going out in the Churches. The Church is becoming weak and false prophets are leading people astray. Instead of obeying Christ the Church is “tempting Christ” and instead of living in obedience they are trying to see how much sin they can “get away with.” Many sitting in pews today are more like Ananias and Sapphira instead of Priscilla and Aquila. In the book of Corinthians Paul speaks to both Gentiles and Jews and warns them using the example of the Ancient Hebrews and their journey through the desert. The Hebrews tempted Christ instead of obeying Him and as a result they fell in the desert. All thoughts of tempting Christ and worshipping idols must go in the life of the believer! All in the Church must turn away from idols! They must turn away from sin, the past, the culture, and those in their family who oppose the Gospel. If not you will become double minded and influenced by demons. A picture of a double minded Church is given for us in Revelation 2:12-16 with the story of the Church of Pergamos. In this Church many of the congregants were obedient to God, but others were becoming double minded and listening to the Nicolations and false teachers were coming in preaching the doctrine of Balaam. John wrote a letter to this Church commanded them to repent because no matter false prophets say there is no amount of false security that will spare you from God's judgment for sin! All Christians must beware of pride, the same sin that led to the downfall of Satan. The only way to have victory over double mindedness and pride is to walk daily in faith in Christ and keep God's commands.
