Having No Part Dark

The question to all who are in the Church today is: are you truly born again? An unsaved person is dead in sin; one who is born again is transformed, changed, made alive, and bears fruit unto holiness. When one hears the gospel the only appropriate response is repentance. Everyone who is truly born again must abide in Christ or the life that has been given to them will be snuffed out. The seed of God is the Holy Spirit but a believer must live in obedience to the truth. Within one who is truly born again the light has dawned and the seed of Christ has been planted. But it is the will of God that the seed would grow into a strong plant and that the light would spread leaving no part dark within the regenerated believer! Prevenient grace enables someone to respond to the grace of God. It is the first ray of light shined upon a dead sinner by God. One must allow this light to transform them and become holy, continuing on in Christ until no part remains dark. Every person must make a decision when the Gospel is preached; a person must take their eyes off everything else and focus on Christ alone. As Christ says the lamp of the body is the eye, and one’s eye must be firmly placed upon Him. Bad assumptions and lies lead to darkness within an individual and their souls become dirty as they focus on the things of this world. All must keep their eyes upon Christ for the work of God to continue. All must beware that the light within does not become darkness. This is what happened to the Pharisees, they didn't want Christ, they refused the light, and as a result they became full of darkness. May it not be so for anyone who hears this sermon.
