Righteousness Which Is From God By Faith

A Christian is one who has exchanged their life for the life of Christ. A Christian is made righteous through faith. The message is repent and believe the Gospel and experience a change of mind that results in a change of life, not from our own efforts. Christians are to live as changed people and not go on sinning! Those who teach one can go on sinning are not preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Heaven is not gained by making ourselves good, no matter how good we are we cannot make ourselves fit for heaven. What matters is love. The greatest is love. Love for God. Those that are Christ’s abide in His love, this is the way to Heaven. To abide in His love and obey Him. One has to go through regeneration and allow the Holy Spirit to change them by grace. The dominion of sin is broken and the person can walk in His ways. Christ died in our place, but in order for there to be substitutionary atonement we must accept this new life of obedience to God. We must come to Christ and submit to Him. The Holy Spirit confirms the work has taken place. To deny one’s self is the opposite of the carnal nature. One must surrender all to God’s will and exchange their self-focus for His will. One must receive God’s government over them, which is love. Cease from self-effort and surrender to God. One is righteous when they are in Christ Jesus. You cannot use religion to be made righteous, you are only righteous in Christ. To trust in one’s own efforts keeps them from being saved and this defies Jesus Christ. Repentance and ongoing obedience is what is required of the Christian. Living in humility before God and allowing Him to change us through faith.
