Restore the Promise

The Bible is a narrative that documents God’s grace throughout time. Grace is unmerited favor. Faith is the response of man. These are gifts from God. But some do not receive. The only way one may become and remain free is if they obey Christ’s New Testament laws. There is no deception worse than religious deception. Jesus rebuked those who claimed to be free but living in bondage. The only way to be free is to obey the Truth. Faith and obedience to the Gospel message makes one free, those that are living in sin are not a child, but are slaves. These are the children of the Devil. Christ came to set us free from sin and religious deception. Christ gave provision for the Church to be equipped. Those that are a part of Christ’s Church are “called out” of the world and are born again living in obedience to Christ’s teaching. God’s plan for the Church is faith and holiness. Those who abide in Christ will remain free, if not they will be entangled. One can only be restored through oneness with God through faith. As one grows in Christ they become steadfast. It is the will of God to reconcile us to Himself. That one would be a reflection of Him and His love. A life of selfless and sacrificial love, God’s love never excused, ignores, or tolerates sin. The Christian is to no longer be a slave of sin! The life of the born again Christian never ends. When the Holy Spirit is planted in a person they will grow and God will purify their hearts by faith. To be a part of Christ’s Church is to be a follower, remaining in love with Him, walking as He walked. We become partakers if we hold fast. Christians are to walk worthy of the Lord. Repent and believe, the Kingdom of God is at hand.
