A Vision of Something Greater - by Benjamen Leahey
True satisfaction and contentment is found in Christ, to be made perfect in one. But do we see this? This must be our vision if we are to see the fulfillment of God’s vision in our lives. We must not have a visionless Christianity. We are to see His will before us; God has made it all possible by faith. We must surrender to His will. All must have a vision of something greater. Our situation may change but God stays the same. We are called to know and do the will of God out of love for Him, seeing Christ before us as the end of our being. A life marked with seeking God and not loving the world. God is willing to give us all we need! Do not stand outside! But what is our vision? Our aspirations? What are our goals or ambitions? Is Christ enough for you? There must be a personal and inner revelation birthed within us that desires to be led where God wants us to go. We can do nothing ourselves, He must be all in all. When we see the ideal in Christ it forces us to look to God. God will bring us there by faith! He will do it! We must see beyond ourselves and look to God, He says for us to come as we are and He will change us. Het sets our feet upon the rock! We must abandon all to God and look to Him to direct our paths. We must realize our own poverty and lack; we cannot rest where we are. For those ready and willing to receive will do by faith! This is a promise! God leaves none unfilled who call for Him! Through faith we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ! By the cross we are reconciled and set free. We must first realize our own unworthiness and then He lifts the beggar from the ash heap! Look to Christ by faith and God will do the work in us.
